Okay, I’ve been waiting for Scott to blog but he’s been a little busy…so here I am. I think we need to change the blog name and strike out Scott’s name again

Scott, Catherine and I spent a nice few hours in Denpasar, Bali exploring, eating and sleeping We walked along the beach which I really didn’t see the attraction of – it just looked like mud and muddy water. We are really very spoilt in Queensland with our golden beaches and blue waves. Scott and I were hassled (as tourist are) by touts trying to sell their wares, including massages. We used “Tidak” a lot (”No” in Indonesian). Catherine and I slept and ate and slept some more

Before leaving for the airport to catch our plane home, we had a seafood dinner on the beach. Very, very nice. We were even serenaded by a 4 piece band, although I think they were more interested in singing to Catherine.

Did I forget to mention we had a honeymoonish suite?

We left in good time to make it to the airport and I think we actually boarded on time! We had bulkhead seats this time which was fantastic because we could get a little bassinette thingy that could be locked into the wall and Catherine could go to sleep. Go to sleep she did! That meant that Scott and I could actually rest on the way home which was fantastic! We arrived back in Brisbane at about 7ish in the morning – bright and early! As soon as we got home…I slept some more! We needed to go shopping in the afternoon though because in a little over 20 hours, we’d be going camping! Yep. We spent 36 hours in Brisbane before heading off to Brooms Head Caravan Park! More on that in the next post!
