Catherine’s first hamburger

All in all I don’t think we’ve done too badly. Catherine is 2 years old tomorrow and she had her first hamburger yesterday. On a Wednesday fortnight during the school term, we head off to MOPS early in the morning (we are usually there by 8:15am) and don’t get home until about 12:30pm/1pm. More often than not, we’ll pick up something to eat on the way home as both of us are pretty hungry by then and neither of us have the patience to wait for me to prepare lunch!

This is Catherine’s first experience with a hamburger – she didn’t do too badly, finishing half of it and all of her chips plus a few of mine!

I should probably point out that I emptied all the Coke out of the cup and filled it with cold water instead. We’re not *that* bad! She still hasn’t had any softdrink and very watered down juice only a couple of times in her 2 years. Not bad, I say!
