I don’t believe I did it…but yes, I finally made that Bacon Caramel that Scotty blogged about all that time ago, because it’s his birthday (or was…). I made cupcakes too, which he took to work to share with his nerd buddies. Anyway, here’s a couple of pics of that BC…

It’s Scott’s birthday today – sweet 31! We were planning on going to Wynnum for fish and chips but with the weather the way it has been, we’ve decided to give it a miss! To the City instead tonight, to have dinner with our mates the Masons. We’re heading to Sizzler and then to Borders where I need to spend a voucher…

So, eight things about moi…let me see if I can think of eight.
1. I love crime shows – L & O (CI and SVU included), Criminal Minds, NCIS (I *love* NCIS), Numb3rs, Bones (when it was on), Cold Case, Without a Trace, Inspector Rex (yes, I like the dog!). I don’t think I’ve forgotten anything…oh, the whole CSI thing too. This basically means that my nights are fairly full 
or at least my VCR is working full-time as I don’t always get to watch them when they’re on. I know, I know…we need to invest in a PVR. It’ll come. When the VCR dies. May be this week when I break it.
2. I never thought I’d enjoy being a mum this much.
3. I played the piano for 8 years – well, lessons anyway. I played on and off after that but hardly touch the piano now. Bad memories!
4. I’d love to take singing lessons…when I have the time…ha!
5. I almost drowned when I was a kid.
6. When I was a baby my mum left me in a room with the air-conditioning on for a nap, it was too cold and I got pneumonia in one lung.
7. Dark chocolate is my favourite chocolate but when in a pinch, any will do
8. Scott thinks I have ADD, ADHD and OCD.
