What a bargain

Initially we could not find the Rivers store – it had moved within the centre but the directories had not been updated!
When we did find the store we found that the trousers were sold out, so a executive consultative decision was made by Jo that we should visit the Rivers store in the city.
While in the city we went to the Myer store and saw this awesome bargain for ‘Spin n Stack Rings’ in the toys section. I bought five.

And you just hated it so much that you put your foot down and said,”NO!” Actually, Scott’s wardrobe has needed to be updated for a LONG time now. We looked at some of his (holey) shirts and realised that he has had them for OVER 10 years! He is very much the dag.
A bit of a laugh about one of his pairs of trousers we bought today: I was looking through the trousers on the rack – while Scott was in the changeroom trying a few on – and found a nice pair of linen/cotton ones in a taupe colour. Thinking that they would be nice casual pants for going out, I flung them over the door at him and asked him to try them on…he comes out complaining that they make him feel like a hippie because they weren’t (in material or looks)like the regular work trousers he wears…! What a (nerdy) guy!

You see Jo, guys feel differently about clothes to girls. If the shirts still covers (most of) your body, then it’s fine! Usually though, one day we’ll snap… look at everything in the clothes-pantry (what are those things called again?) and go, “I hate everything I own. Lets go shopping.”.
Or is that just me?

Yeah no, it’s just you!! Scott has NEVER said, “I hate everything I own…” In fact, he takes great pride in his holey shirts!!

I’m glad to hear you took advantage of a great deal like that – but can I ask another question (I’ve been out of the country too long). What are snap and stack rings?
Scott – make your own style. If it’s “nerdy”, then wear it with pride.
